In depth review of @theestallion 2019 mixtape “Fever”🔥🔥(rts and likes are appreciated) inspired by @Meapo__
1. Realer
This album starts off with a bang, this song is about how real thee hottie can get and how these hoes be fake asl. She goes into talking abt how she a boss baddie and how she abt that cash and money. This is her anthem, she dont care what the critics think, she a boss‼️
1. Realer/continued
This intro track is a 9/10 to me, sets up the main theme of the album and gives us an idea of whats next.
9/10
2.Hood Rat Shit
From the hard piano in the background to the sample at the beginning this entire song just goes hard. This song delves into the story of megan and how she all abt that money and into the theme of that bad bitch life, she aint no average baddie‼️
8.5/10
3. Pimpin
This song is so jumpy and puts me in a happy mood, easily top 5 on the album. The bass in the back is hard asl and can rumble a building. Megan continues delving into that topic of money over pleasing men, how she is all abt the dough and how men dont hit the same
3. Pimpin/continued
She’s a boss. That’s the concept of the album and that’s the main concept of this song, she’s a boss and she wants to get her ass out. She repeats this throughout the whole album, she doesnt need a man she needs the money.
8.5/10
4. Cash Shit ft. DaBaby
Best song of the album hands down, the bouncy bass resonates throughout the whole song giving it this hype jumpy feeling, and the insanely jumpy chorus makes me feel so rich and famous, almost putting me in her shoes, this is one of my fav stallion songs
4. Cash Shit ft. DaBaby(continued)
Not to mention, DaBaby’s verse is immaculate, one of the best baby guest verses of his career, his flow go stupid crazy here and makes the song 100 times better! His energy just boosts this song to new heights.
9.5-10/10
5. W.A.B
Angry, ANGRY STALLION, in this track we get this ominous, Michael Myers type beat, with megan in the background tellin these bitches that she the shit, advising not to get thee hottie angry😮🥵. She dives into internet beef and yells abt how she not rlly wit that
5. W.A.B (continued)
And how she rlly would mess a bitch up. Really striking fear in the hearts of those who fuck wit her claiming, “shut the fuck up before i hoe ya”😟 one of the more mediocre tracks tho
6.5-7/10
6. Best You Ever Had
This is one of the more calm tracks on this album. Megan’s vocals and calm and soothing here, really rallies up the spirit she gives in this album, saying she is the best this guy has ever had, really just touches her theme on a diff aproach
7/10 meh track
7. Simon Says Ft. Juicy J
This track reeks of a club banger, the eratic beat that even i can twerk too, to the provactive lyrics from megan and Juicy, it brings the same feeling you have felt for the whole album but bring that club trap energy every album these days needs
7.5/10
8. Shake that - Rachet
Megan stretches out the album a little bit more than needed too, these are the worst songs on the album, because they want to be the better songs of the album, they all speak about the same thing, similar flows and not really trying any new
8. Shake That- Rachet(continued)
This is the stretch of songs where the album drags and becomes rather boring yet still delivers and bangs on the message of megan being a money hungry boss
Shake That:5.5/10
Money Good:6/10
Dance:5/10
Ratchet:6/10
9. Sex Talk
LORD THIS IS MEGANS BEST WORK DISPLAYED IN A SONG, The instrumental is firey and hot, megans lyrics is everything u would expect but delivered 1000 times better, the song just reeks of sexual intercourse and makes me wanna run through a wall, this is wap before wap
9. Sex Talk (continued)
This is the anthem, this is the beat everyone was freestyling on at one point, best song on this album and a top 5 megan, this track stands out and saves the ending stretch of the album, make me feel a whole lot better about megan and her future
10/10
10. Big Drank
Uggghhh, not a bad track but very very repetitive, like i said before sex talk triggered a different type of musical horniness that saves the end of the album but this is basically best you ever had part 2, but her vocals are nicer and calmer
10. Big Drank (continued)
This song she is talking on her worth to niggas and what she really means to them, and how women are treated in these “hood” relationships, kinda diff from the theme but still a mid track 6.5/10
11. Running Up Freestyle
Ahhhhhh, this should’ve been earlier in the album, this song is energetic but is in the end of this album where the energy has gone away and calmed down, its a great track but it doesnt belong at the end of the album smh
8/10
12. Conclusion: This album is not bad, the theme really stays the same and doesnt really delve into anything else other than money, dick, and money. But its still a fun and enjoyable album, got reptitive at the end but some songs saved a terrible album ending,
like i said it wasnt bad, it just struggled figuring out what it wanted to be, its was an enjoyable album but it dragged towards the end, its a solid 6.5-7.5/10, i liked it alot. Trans
