Yes, you need pronouns in your bio even if you're cis or binary passing (a breakdown)
"But I'm cis! I don't need to put them there!"
Everyone's got them, y'know. Maybe you're a guy who uses he/him, and you don't wanna be referred to as she/her, they/them, etc, because that's not you. Put them there so people know!
"I don't really care what pronouns people use for me"
That's great! The thing is that trans people are very often the only people with pronouns in their bio, meaning they get targeted for it the most. If everyone has them there, transphobes will realize it's not "a trans thing".
"It's really obvious from my appearance/name/tweets that I'm [gender]"
Fun fact: presentation is tied to gender, but isn't a direct link. You really don't want to cuddle up with the people who bullied masculine girls and feminine boys in middle school just because you conform.
"I have h/h (or s/h) in my bio already!"
Believe it or not, neopronoun communities exist! With the wide variety of pronouns that exist for neurodivergent/nonbinary people, only the most binary thinkers will know what you mean with just two little letters.
"My bio says I'm a guy/girl!"
Gender non-conforming people exist! Sometimes people, for different reasons, feel a disconnect from masculinity or femininity or androgyny, and feel more comfortable with other pronouns. This means that she/her men, he/him women, etc. are out there.
End of thread for now! Might add other examples from me or other people.
