In the history of the Negro Leagues, there are six ballparks that still exist, three are still used for baseball, two are in the midst of renovation and one is in danger a demolition in the coming years.

Rickwood Field in Birmingham, AL. opened in 1910, it is the oldest professional ballpark in the U.S.

It was home of the Birmingham Black Barons, Negro Southern League 1920–1924, 1926, 1931–1936, 1938–1939 and Negro National League 1925–1926, 1927–1930, 1937, 1940–1948.
League Park in Cleveland. Original wood grandstands were built for the Spiders in 1891, was renovated for the #Indians (then Naps) in 1910.

It was home to the Cleveland Buckeyes of the Negro American League from 1944-1948 and 1950.

Indians played here 1901-1932, 1933-1946.
Hamtramck Stadium in Detroit opened in 1930. It was home of the Negro League Detroit Stars and Detroit Wolves.

It was added to National Register of Historic Places in 2012 and was recently granted 500k for an upcoming renovation.
J.P. Small Memorial Park (aka Durkee Field) in Jacksonville, FL. was built in 1912 (renovated after a fire in 1936 and again in 2006).

It was home of the Negro American League Jacksonville Red Caps 1938 and 1941-1942.
Hinchliffe Stadium in Patterson, NJ. Opened in 1932.

It was home to the New York Black Yankees of the Negro National League (1933-37 and 1939-1945) and the New York Cubans of the Negro National League (1935-1936).

In 2019, it was granted $18.7 million to repair and reopen.
Bush Stadium, in Indianapolis, opened in 1931.

Was home to the Negro League’s ABC’s (1932,1938,1939), American Giants (1933), Athletics (1937), Crawfords (1940) and Clowns of the Negro American League (1944-1950).

In 2013, it opened as an apartment complex with a ballfield.
Cooper Stadium, built in 1931, was home to the Negro National League Columbus Blue Birds during the first half of the 1933 season.

It is currently abandoned and in danger of demolition.
Many Negro League teams barnstormed and played exhibition games in multiple parks. The Negro Leagues also had their own minor leagues. There are other parks out there like West Field in Munhall, PA that hosted games (Homestead Grays) that weren’t included. Thanks for following.
