Greece
has reported 217 new cases in the last 24 hours.
An improvement on yesterday where 226 cases were reported.
As always, it'd be great to see this decline continue.
That way, we continue to reduce the possibility of a UK
quarantine risk.

On Friday, transport secretary Grant Shapps said should a nation exceed 20 cases per 100,000 people over 7-days cumulatively, it would spark concern.
As a result, we now have a better idea of how the UK gov
could consider which nations to remove.

As it stands, Greece
remains in a better position than other nations.
The cumulative number of cases per 100,000 over 7-days is 13.6.
This is lower than:
Austria
(15.0)
Czech Republic
(16.1)
Denmark
(17.9)
Croatia
(23.6)

The decline we have seen is very promising.
Providing this continues, we will see no drastic movement in the cumulative number of cases per 100,000 over 7-days.
That will mean it'll stay below 20, the so-called “threshold” for the UK
government.

Last Thursday, we saw France
, the Netherlands
, Malta
and a few other nations removed because they exceeded 20 cases per 100,000 people over 7-days cumulatively.
Providing the number of new cases in Greece
continue to decline…

... the UK government
*should* leave it off the quarantine list in this week's review if we take into account their "20 mark" threshold system.

As I have said in previous tweets, by Tuesday we'll have more statistics, allowing us to make a more accurate assumption about what *could* happen in the UK's
weekly quarantine list review.
Right now, Greece
is in a pretty good position.

I'll keep tweteting about Greece and provide more information as the situation develops!

*slight mistake here.
Czech Republic's
cumulative number of cases over 7-days per 100,000 people is actually 15.
Not 16.1 as I said in thread 3.
This is still higher than Greece.
