Would like to share some views of mine on life.
For many years, since my teenage, I was anxious. Most of us are. We are definitely not the creature who can stabilize ourselves on a snap of fingers. A few years ago a question came to my mind.
Why do people live the way they live?
Most of our lives we live in denial. Denial of our purpose. people live anxiously only because they are chasing happiness
"If you chase happiness, you are going to be unhappy"
You know who earns a lot from this?
Happiness coaches
We people are business for them. @davidfrawleyved
But will they ever teach the real thing?
Some of us might have read gita. Krishna tells Arjun that happiness and unhappiness is merely a state of mind. It doesn't exist at all. If the situations are meeting your expectations, you are happy, otherwise you will feel miserable.
Isn't that true?
The real issue here is we chase. Chasing creates expectations which in turn creates feelings depending on situations
I would like you to pause the reading and close your eyes. Imagine a recent sad moment of you life. Seek why were you sad? What made you negative?
Whatever that reason is, certainly it pressurized you to be happy. Because of this society, we do not realize what happiness really is. And even if it arrives in life, we reject it because we don't recognize that.
Why?
Our minds are constantly seeking to hype up heart rate.
We have a perception that if we are happy it must come from the physiological means. What movie did you watch recently? Think about a scene that really excited you. Did your heart rate increase? Were you restless or emotional that time? This is what we think is happiness.
"Chemical release of the brain provides temporary contentment"
What to do?
1. Avoid thrilling movies and songs. This actually shoots adrenaline into the body which increases heart rate. May lead to variety of diseases. This chemical seems good initially but as time passes...
..it becomes dreadful due to the addiction of it.

2. What is your life purpose?
This question blows everyone's brain! There is no definite purpose of our creation. If we think that having a job, wife, mantion brings happiness then you might have no purpose in life.
Purpose is basically a concept of life. What do we truly belong to beyond material possession. It can be your family, your siblings, your kids and wife. Serving the purpose of others is a huge task in itself, isnt it?

3. Stop thinking negative emotions bring sadness.
It definitely creates turbulances in mind. But it also an opportunity to analyze the life that you live. If you shy away or deny them, they will steadily increase. Sometimes negative thoughts may prompt you to do a wrong work. Learn an effective way so they don't overpower.
4. Why don't you enjoy small moments? When was the last time your entire family sat and played carom board? When was the time when you saw a tree and felt the connection with it? Small things have huge impacts.

Stop chasing, start seeking
