Michael Porter Jr. today talked about his growing relationship with Nikola Jokic on the floor. He smiled & said Jokic "is a superstar that prefers to pass. I'm a young guy that likes to score."

"We've got a good thing going and I think it's only going to get better from here."
MPJ on his potential playoff contributions:

"I know I have to be a big part of this if we want to go far like we plan on doing."

Said he has to come in every game locked in. Active on the glass, active on defense, put the ball in the hoop, & be a leader even though he's young.
Couple aspects of MPJ's first playoff experience Malone pointed out:

1. He's a rookie - different than Joker and Murray who had a few NBA season under their belts

2. "He's a different cat. He doesn't get too high or too low he just wants to play, he just wants to hoop."
3. This playoff situation is so unique. No hostile road environment. Coach Malone said that's allowed a lot of players to play at a higher level, and said he thinks that's going to help MPJ.
