Here are important voting deadlines coming up in Tennessee:
NOW! — Order your absentee ballot. Forget the state law that says you can order it until one week b4 the election. @USPS has already told TN that’s not going to be enough time to RECEIVE it, let alone get it back in.

October 5 — This is a big day!!!!
I would add to this: Mail your absentee ballot by this day because we already know it’s going to take a LONG time to get there. Sooner than this is better, like...try Labor Day!!!

October 5 is also such a big day in TN because we are one of the only states w/ suuuuuch a loooong registration deadline: 30 days. 
Why is this impt? Well, if you’re new to TN, you’re out of luck! If you turn 18 after this date & THEN want to register, you’re out of luck.

Next up are the MOST wonderful days of all! We have 15 days of Election Day here in TN! Woo hoo!
14 of those days are called Early Vote, but they are EXACTLY the same as Election Day, w/ fewer poll locations.

And remember that tornado that hit us on Election Day this year in March? It took out several polling locations!
Who knows what could be facing us on November 3. Just Vote Early TN, between 10/14-10/29, & you’ll be leaving NOTHING to chance!
