There's a new viral video rife with misinformation that posted on Friday and as of this morning has 1.3M views. (No, I'm not posting it.) It centers around an interview w/ recently arrested InfoWars correspondent Millie Weaver. This is just the first minute of the dialogue.

So many tactics are colliding with this piece of misinformation. Followers are being urged to download the film (1.5hrs long) & repost it. It's on FB, YT, and Twitter. I'm looking at the Facebook @Crowdtangle data, and Facebook appears to be in the middle of a takedown. Many of the top FB posts of the video have view counts now zeroed out. But the video keeps getting reposted, including in groups that have "2.0" in their FB pages.

The video is also being reposted in other conspiracy groups in other languages.

Another familiar tactic: it's a YouTube video (link still active) that has the vast majority of shares; that link is then being shared on Facebook. Metrics (and this doesn't get at the number of total views)

And the $$$ angle: There is an emergency legal fund for Millie Weaver on @GoFundMe. It has raised $88.5K in 24 hours. https://www.gofundme.com/f/emergency-legal-defense-fund-for-millie-weaver

. @btdecker told me a couple of hours ago that the total viewcount on facebook from all versions of the video is ***13.5 million***

compared to 8 million on Plandemic over the span of a few days.

There are so many versions of the video on YouTube. And if you look at who’s sharing it, it’s clear the QAnon community is a huge part of this.
