FEEL THE LOVE (1/2)

Cudi starts the record off with some powerful vocals, and Ye drops some... interesting ad-libs, but this track is mainly carried by its strong instrumental and a nice Pusha T verse. A curious way to start a collaborative LP taking away the focus from-
FEEL THE LOVE (2/2)

- the main collaborators, but I feel like this track is a good tone setter for this record.

FIRE

This driven instrumental is amazing, and Kanye rides the beat so well, dropping a strong verse to open the track in particular. Cudi drops a good verse and hook, and he really adds to the instrumental with his harmony hums.

4TH DIMENSION (1/2)

The Louis Prima sample that carries through this instrumental is great, with the beat coming across as very eerie, accentuated by the manic laughter sample going into Cudi's verse. Cudi in particular shines here, with some great reflective bars about his-
4TH DIMENSION (2/2)

- previous struggles with substance abuse and depression, and his energy and flow on this track is really endearing.

FREEEE (GHOST TOWN PT.2)
(1/2)

This track is fantastic- I love the moody, aggressive instrumental on this track, with Ye, Cudi, Ty Dolla & Anthony Hamilton all coming through with great vocals on a track which is honestly more rock than anything, fusing styles well on-
FREEEE (GHOST TOWN PT.2)
(2/2)

-an already experimental and creative record. Kanye in particular sounds amazing on this track, his vocals really convey the emotion well and he comes across as the bonafide rock star we all know him to be.

REBORN (1/2)

This track is beautiful. The ethereal beat, with Cudi dropping great harmonies over the top really creates such an amazing sound, a layer of euphoric bliss which complements the lyrics well. Both Ye and Cudi on this track reflect upon their personal issues and -
REBORN (2/2)

-celebrate overcoming these, or being 'reborn' as they go over in the hook. When I think of KSG, this track embodies everything i enjoy about this record- ethereal, experimental, introspective brilliance.

KIDS SEE GHOSTS

My least enjoyable track on the album. Kanye drops a nice verse but I find the beat to lack in comparison to others on this record, and it feels a little too long of a track for the vibe to really stay fresh and enjoyable throughout.

6/10
CUDI MONTAGE (1/2)

I love the driving force of this instrumental being strings again, this time a sample of Kurt Cobain demo track 'Burn the Rain'. Despite the name of this track, with Cudi dropping great harmonies as per usual, it's actually Kanye who comes through here, with-
CUDI MONTAGE (2/2)

- a phenomenal, harrowing verse around the cycle of revenge and violence, playing off of a classic Nas line and spinning his own tale.

FINAL THOUGHTS (1/2)

Kids see Ghosts is an incredibly concise, left field project that combines a multitude of styles and ethereal vibes to create a piece of work that is highly enjoyable. One of the strengths of the project is how Kanye and Cudi shine collectively at points as-
FINAL THOUGHTS (2/2)

-as well as in individual moments, really using both to the best of their abilities. However, as good as KSG is, I just get the feeling that there is a whole well of untapped potential for this duo.
