It’s ok to be annoyed about the footage from last night and still recognise that unscrupulous employers, awful housing conditions and DP are the main contributors to our C-19 numbers. Until schools open.
It’s ok to perceive the selfishness & entitlement of that promoter and still recognise that people in the live events industry have had their livelihoods devastated by this pandemic and have been sneered at to get jobs by the DEASP.
It’s ok to be angry that small villages and towns across the country have lost their small local pub which provides much of the community glue, and responsible owners have been shut, while recognising that some pub owners are selfish and care more about money than anything else.
It’s ok to recognise that FFFGers across the land are jumping with joy at no longer having to face up to the realities of their shortcomings in successive governments, because they now have something else to blame. It’s ok. We can blame both to different extents.
It’s ok to ensure that the lion’s share of blame goes to this government, the previous one, and the ones before, who have all facilitated the large scale exploitation of people for profit. But it’s also ok to try to ensure that her future events don’t happen during the pandemic.
