Note to self on healing:
Some of the bags you're trying to unpack don't belong to you. Their contents are, quite frankly, none of your business. You'll get to the bottom of them only to find that the "Why?" you were looking for changed nothing for you.

Take inventory over all your baggage. Assess it honestly. Know that just because it's in your possession doesn't mean you're the owner. If you're not the owner, just toss the shit out. The people that left the bags with you obviously didn't care for em either
What does belong to you is your trials, your testimony, and this moment. A good majority of your working tools lie within the aforementioned. Anything else you pack is probably extra. Shed that too.
