I hope people remember the ruckus that was raised abt procedural democracy during the Azadi March. Now should we ask the geniuses who vociferously said Maulana will snatch democracy from Mil? Was this their dream of civ supremacy being acquired through procedural democracy 1/n
This wasn’t the first such false narrative spun by these hacks led by Abbas Nasir & Co. Sometimes it’s “everything will benefit Mian Saab” sometimes it’s vote ko izzat so sometimes it’s principal contradiction but never have they been proven right with their analysis or facts 2/n
It’s always a hotchpotch of low B grade propaganda intended to aid a couple of dynastic political parties. Sometimes their propaganda is busted within days & sometimes it takes month but it’s amazing how people continue to hold them as some sort of torchbearers of journalism 3/n
It would be only fair if these guys openly professed their love for these political parties & didn’t hide behind vague and amorphous concepts in support of these dynasties. 4/n
Yaar Noon ko vote karna hai bcz the privilege, family association with the party or hate for PTI & it’s hyper fans irks you to khul Kay kaho that Mian Saanp kay goday pakarnay hain. Don’t friggin hide behind flimsy and fake excuses to hide that aap bhi biryani fan hi hain
