The wave I woke up in:

We really need to get comfortable with curiously examining things around us. We get so caught up in our ego stories that we block any chance of further growth and understanding. Too hung up on eradicating “wrongs” but not spending enough time reflecting.
Most of the time, if we really zoom out from our beliefs, we’ll realize that there are multiple perspectives available. Multiple realities possible. It is possible for a person to be bad AND good. Possible for an experience to be traumatic AND positive.

Life is a spectrum.
It is possible for me to be bubbly, positive, excitable and warm AND melancholy, negative, self criticizing and temperamental. Both sides can exist.

We’re multidimensional beings. Complex and full of depth, even when we don’t see that in ourselves. It’s honestly beautiful.
But we’ll never fully appreciate that if we keep telling lazy stories and letting those stories be the standard.

I’ve spent a lot of time studying people and behavior through my own understanding. There’s no universal box that can give us all what we’re here to get.
I cannot fit in a box. No one truly can unless they want to. So why do we police others by how well they fit into a box of someone else’s making?

Or why spend our lives trying desperately to fit in that externally actualized box?

If you heal, you won’t need what comes with it
But, to be fair, it is possible that the box exists for those of us whose life journey isn’t about the box at all but about something that they can only access by being in said box.

But that’s a rabbit hole for another day. Thanks for reading!
