2/7 Election commission reason was that their parents were not citizens when they were born. But No one in Myanmar had so called current citizenship card or national security card (pick card). It has only started to issue after 1982. But All citizens hold NRC including Rohingyas.

3/7 NRC or National Registration Card was the only citizenship card that most citizens of #Myanmar hold. So did parents of these applicants and including parents all other election candidates or current MPs in Myanmar.
#AungSanSuKyu run the election with the NRC in 2012.

4/7UKyawMin ran in 1990 Election with that same #NRC card&won at the election.But the law has been retroactively applied & he was rejected to run election in 2015 when #Rohingya were disenfranchised election& now again in 2020 election under NLD
