Thoughts on Cowboy Bebop ✨
When a creator tries to break the rules there are usually two possibilities, that everything goes wrong, or that he creates something new and innovative, fresh, original and groundbreaking. Cowboy Bebop is iconic for that reason.
An episodic series where little by little everything connects, with a beautiful storytelling and intriguing and charismatic stories at all times, flawless in all that it tries to tell.
A story full of details that explores multiple ideas passing through different genres thanks to its so charismatic and different characters that it is so easy to fall in love with.
An original and captivating setting where the mix of aesthetics is striking to say the least, a beautiful series with an immaculate animation and one of the best directions we have ever had in the medium.
It is impossible to overlook the great charisma of its main cast, its careful and outstanding designs, and its very different, unique and extravagant personalities.
Spike Spiegel is easily one of my favorite characters of all time, his quiet philosophy, and his way of facing life even seem inspiring at times, his concern for others and how he is tied to his past always ends up breaking my heart.
As he says, Spike Spiegel is dead, he's just living a dream from which he doesn't want to wake up, he's not afraid of death, he lives tied to his past, and the only thing he wants to prove is that he's really still alive.
Cowboy Bebop's melancholy and tragic approach to romance fascinates and destroys me.
And if there's one thing that makes Cowboy Bebop so emotional, it's of course the fundamental aspect of it, the music.
Yoko Kanno with Cowboy Bebop literally created art. She formed a band specifically for these songs, created a soundtrack that is unique to this day that very few can approach in quality.
The mix of genres and the complexity of their composition, with blues, classic rock and jazz, makes me go crazy in just a few seconds.
In conclusion, I have loved Cowboy Bebop in this rewatch in all its aspects.
I gave it a 10 https://twitter.com/iggythustra/status/1294629921180905472?s=20
