As a hacker like you I notice patterns. It's a skill in our blood. We just have this ability and tap into it from time to time because we can.

I noticed we have 2 ice cream trucks.

One comes around 10 AM on a Saturday.

One at 11.

But because they are in competition with each other, they didn't discuss these near overlapping times and each truck only manages to get half the houses in the block.

Each house has a preference you see.

Now I'm not a business person despite my lofty title but I have a brain.

I also have a deep desire to screw with my neighbors as much as possible because of a litany of reasons going back 12 yrs I've lived in this hood.

So, I counted the houses.

I made a general guess as to how much it would cost if each family bought just one cone each.

It came to 50 bucks.

So yesterday as the first truck went down the street, I followed it.

Stopped him at the end where he turns around and asked him to stop at each house.

Gave him 100$

I wanted to give back to the neighborhood I said.

I did the same with the other guy a half hour later.

Then raced home to watch the carnage.

What would've normally taken 10 mins because not everyone buys took almost 2 hrs.

At one point because of the bottleneck they were within a house proximity to each other and there was the horrible mixing of their MIDI jingles like the devil's version of Dueling Banjos.

Just LOUD

But awesome.

Everyone was coming out of the house like we were being invaded.

Stanley was in a quiet rage that his sanctity had been disrupted.

And all it cost me was two large.
