Okay pips these are just opinions and based on my perspective.. I would love to hear your thoughts and comments as well.. so let's just respect eachother's ideas 💛
So after reading 131, I wanted to analyze the whole Eren is the father of Hisu's child..what could be the reasons of Eren having a child? What motivates Eren into doing so? On Historia's part, it is given to us why: Historia's gonna be sacrificed and gain Zeke's beast titan-
-and continue the cycle of passing down titan powers..so she just wanted to save herself and her children from that fate. Eren on the other hand, what seems to be his motive in having a family? It would really make it worse for him since he's gonna end up like Grisha.-
Flashback to the part when Grisha refused to take the founder and kull the Reiss. He refused because of hid family, hus love for Carla, Eren and Mikasa. Eren wantd his plan to be fulfilled and because of that, he can't be weak like Grisha (love as a weakness).-
If Eren did have a child, he wouldn't be able to go through with his plan since "love" would overrun his goal. Chap112 represents his rejection and that lead him into pushing away Armin and Mikasa from him. His two bestfriends represents the humanity in Eren-
-but since the rumbling needs to happen, he needs to push away his own humanity becoming the monster he is now. At that point I really thought that Eren has no intention of having a family. We theb saw Eren's struggle and suffering at 131. The sight of a pregnant woman-
-remembered him of Carla. I mean if he really made Hisu pregnant, he would have thought of her and his child. Eren is at his lowest point rn, that love is so far away from him mind. Judging from Eren's mental state rn, uhm he's really gonna kill off thousands and yet also has-
-his own kid? I still can't process that idea. I know there are a lot of symbolism such as the theories around the devil based on marley and the hoodied devil in Freida's book. It could be aligned as to what is currently happening yet the plot is gonna make-
-a huge turn. And this is where Mikasa's role takes effect as why her answer would have changed something in Eren. How come having a child couldn't do anything and yet a simple answer would have? Eren knew his fate yet despite being a monster in the eyes of many-
-he wants to feel loved and accepted by someone. Eren asked Mikasa not because of the ackerman bond, he did because just like how love (Carla) saved Grisha, Eren probably wants Mikasa to pull him out of his state-
-as far as I could see, Eren cares for Historia and wants to protect her, but it's not just her, Eren can't be doing all this just to save Hisu. Eren wants to save Paradis and Hisu is a little part of it. I don't think Isayama would make Eren literally destroy the world just-
-to prevent Hisu from becoming a shifter. Historia being the only royal on the island poses a greater threat to her and ofcourse Eren would want to protect her from such a cruel fate. Eren cares for everyone especially his friends that he rejected-
-the plan of letting Historia take the beast titan. Just because Eren wanted to save someone from death doesn't mean he's in love with them. Back in ch108, Eren said that his squad is the most important thing for him and that he would want them to live long and happy lives-
-the whole gang is there except Historia. Don't get me wrong, Historia is also important to Eren but not on the same level as Armin and Mikasa, leading to Kruger & Grisha's quote "If you want to save Mikasa and Armin..."-
-here comes in Eren and Mikasa's relationship in this arc. Mikasa's character arc is proving that she genuinely loves Eren and erase the whole "Ackerman bond". I truly believe the scarf moment is very relevant this whole time. We can't really ignore the fact that they are-
-not siblings.. even the whole squad don't see them as siblings. And so the "what am I to you" moment gives me the chills and if there's really a pregnant woman waiting for Eren, why even bother asking this question?-
-Eren's question was genuine, you can see it in his eyes. At this moment, I could see that Eren sees Mikasa as a way out and that her answer could have changed something. Eren and Mikasa has the most screen/panel time and I doubt that Isayama put too much writing on their arcs-
-just to be trashed in the end. As we remember the first panel, Mikasa saying "see you later" is probably the last thing Eren sees before dying. This panel would then be useless if Eren actually lives off with Historia. This panel fulfills his promise to Mikasa in-
-wrapping the scarf around her. Promises have such impacts on characters such as Levi's promise to Erwin, Eren's promise to Mikasa, and Annie's promise to her dad. That panel only shows Mikasa, and Armin is not even there..but its possible the Armin lives since he is-
-probably the narrator of the story.👀 The last chapters should be the final blow to the plot yet there are still topics that are blurry to us. I doubt that there would be a chapter revolving around Eren being the father unless Isayama really shows and confirms it-
AoT is everyone's story, everyone's suffering and its clear that Historia is suffering a lot and the idea of her being happy with Eren is kinda far from the plot..it doesn't seem like Eren leaving a widowed queen and a fatherless child. As for Hisu, I really wish something-
-better for her since having a kid with a genocidal guy and later on dies is just tragic (all about aot is tragic) I also think that Hisu knows about Mikasa's feelings since she even teased her back kn ch107.. Eren's arc is not about choosing between Mikasa and Historia.-
That is the beauty of AoT, we'll never know what Isayama is planning.. this is Isayama we're talking about😂 Okay I've said too much thank you for reading this far..just wanna share my 3page draft of this🤣 I even ran out of ink😅 What are your thoughts?
