This is the biggest scandal ever in Scotland!!! The fact Jeane Freeman is still in a job & people still think scotgov are doing a good job on covid shames us all. We've had years of piss poor governance so seem to have accepted it. Time for journos & opposition to step up! https://twitter.com/PeterSwindon/status/1294741226550374401
Ultimately this is negligence that has directly led to scores, potentially hundreds of deaths of our citizens. People should be incandescent with rage about this. It shouldn't matter if you support independence or the union, you should be disgusted with the Scottish government.
I sincerely hope that those that have unnecessarily lost loved ones prematurely because of this, get together and take civil legal action. It's the only way they'll get answers & find out who made these decisions & why.
I have lost all faith in Holyrood getting answers as it
seems that scotgov appears to be unaccountable. I voted for devolution but I never thought for a second we'd end up where we are currently. I honestly despair for the future of my country at times. FTAOD I know rUK are having similar issues but thats their problem, not Scotland's
Our fellow UK citizens should be just as angry with their respective governments. If you're immediate response is to think, "yeah but what about X or Y" you clearly don't care about your fellow Scots. Imagine it was your parent or grandparent that died, would you be angry then?
Covid is a total b@st@rd, no doubt, it was always going to take a heavy toll, but the decisions our government have made have made that toll worse than it could have been. 4,213 Scots are dead, many unnecessarily. Time for their loved ones to get answers #coronavirusuk #covid19UK
