everytime I saw a comment that said the otherwise, while yams gave us so many evidence in the manga, I guess I will always make a thread out of it. just for a reminder for you that this really exists and is canon.

• the female titan arc.

where eren felt doubt stormed over him to transform, or we can say to find a clear goal to transorm into his titan form. mikasa was there. you can see the look in his face in this manga panel.

• when mikasa said, "it's not your decision whether you get to be a soldier, eren."

you can see the manga panel, i dont have to say it, i guess? but in case if you kinda of, uh, didnt see it. eren felt kinda down and realized that what mikasa said is true.

• when he figured out that he tried to kill mikasa. the look on his face? huh. then after mikasa said that eren has saved her twice in his titan form, eren's face is loosened.

• clash of titans arc.

where eren had a mental breakdown because mr. hannes died, eaten with the same smiling titan like his mother. he felt useless and said nothing has changed. but then mikasa gave him comfort by confessing her true feelings towards him all this time.

then it caused eren fired up and boom punched a titan with his bare hands. did eren know about the smiling titan being dina fritz with the royal blood? did eren know about him having a coordinate/founding titan power? no. but he was ready to risk it all to protect him and mika.

• rts arc.

when eren doubted himself about him sealing the wall. mika said this and then eren felt relieved. (yeah only for a sec before levi said "not yet").

• the legend ch. 123.

we all know what happened before this event took place. what happened in 131, yes. then eren asked mikasa, "what am I to you?" which didnt go as he expected. he asked for comfort, just like he always did, to mikasa. fr i cant say anything more abt this.

123 & 131 are really the deadly duo for my emotions. and you clearly know why. not because what happened to eremika, but because in 131, eren is broken af.

honestly, do i still have tears left? lmao okay so we can see eren's face cracked here when armin said that. ooo we know armin is always capable of looking for someones soft spot. and he knows, eren's soft spot is Mikasa Ackerman.
