no this is not in Thailand. this was here in the Philippines last July, celebrating Independence Day at UP Diliman. social distancing was observed as they called on for free mass testing, financial assistance to jeepney drivers, & justice to slained critics, among others.
we can do what Thailand and other countries fighting for freedom are doing. so when you say 'i hope the Philippines can do it', think again because we've been doing. we need to value more our own activists. protest is not just about raising fingers or fists or
tweeting and sharing something in social media nor protest is as peaceful and glamorous as you might think. protests are loud for a reason that the calls should be heard by everyone, not just by tje government, but everyone.
we fight in solidarity with the people of Thailand, Hong Kong, US, and many other countries. we also fight alongside each other here in the Philippines. see you in the streets soon!
i hope that when you say 'sana dito rin sa Pinas', you really mean it and not be disgusted by Filipino activists —just because our rally isn't the same in Thailand or in Hong Kong. this thread aims to educate.

please support the call in junking the Anti-Terror Law, a law that has a vague definition of terrorism much like Hong Kong's National Security Law. anyone can be tagged as a terrorist under this law. https://junkterrorbill.carrd.co/
please take the time to read through this. donate if you can & spread the word. numerous activists have been killed & ancestral domains have been bombed despite being in quarantine. jeepney drivers have been begging on the streets for food & money. https://parasapinas.carrd.co/
here is a carrd about the world. please take the time to read through and educate yourself. educate your friends and family, too. https://issuesintheworld.carrd.co/
if you have any questions please feel free to ask here or in my DMs. im not the best but ill try to answer your queries. my curiouscat is also linked in my profile. you can also ask me there if you need clarifications or anything.
i don't need to say this but i am not part of any organization BUT i support their calls. i am still aware of what's happening around the world because i chose to. that goes to anyone. hindi kailangan ng master's degree para tumindig at lumaban para sa tama.

i understand that many of you are afraid to speak up but it's never too late to educate yourself. take the time to read the news and watch documentaries. asking around is also very helpful. i hope you can fins it in yourself to start learning and speaking up.

getting organized is a big help since they hold in depth educational discussions explaining our country's problems.

i choose to not get organized because many members of my family works under the government haha i know it's ironic. but i just don't want them to be on the 'bad side' of their workplace.
