everything wrong with dora the explorer; a thread
1. first of all, let's talk about how she has literally no parental supervision. she's 6/7 years old and her parents allow her to wander in the forest with a talking monkey, like they not know tat social services is a thing? hello????
2. her parents again fail to realize that dora has glaucoma and needs eye care. this little girl is unable to see objects that are right in front of her and has to keep shouting until a monkey tells her where it is or she remembers it herself. social services please?
3. dora teaches kids that the way to stop a robbery/crime is by shouting "robber, no robbing" 3 times and then not reporting to an adult.

4. dora's parents again fail to realize that she suffers from schizophrenia. a talking monkey, a singing map and backpack, every object has a face with a mouth which can talk, clearly all voices in her head, again social services?
5. her annoying backpack: why would i buy a backpack for a kid that requires me to listen to a song before i can open it? what if i need a pencil quickly, do i have to listen to a song first? is it even safe to keep my stuff in that?
6. again it is evident that dora has a certain form of dwarfism because for 19 years over 8 seasons, she has not grown an inch, this should be alarming for any parent to get a check-up but no, clearly not dora's parents
7. her map; dora must certainly be a rich girl since for 19 years, she's bought more than a thousand maps. hell she should have a map collection worth millions by now which means there is enough money to send her to school but her parents are obviously keeping all of it smh
8. again, her parents have decided that instead of buying her cool and new clothes, they'd much rather let her wear the same pink top and orange shorts which have obviously become tiny on her, what in the parenting?
