Hey y'all, the Post Gazette already put my name out there - this was me. The Pittsburgh Police approached the bike perimeter in an unmarked van and lured me closer by pretending to need directions around the march. @billpeduto answer for this you rat.

When I approached the van to provide directions the passenger grabbed me and multiple other men sprang out of the back of the van heavily armed to arrest me. I was driven to the busway where officers searched me and transported me to ACJ.

The actions taken by the city's police department and tacitly endorsed by @billpeduto are horrifying. Every protester must now live in fear of getting grabbed by the police in such a violent and terrifying manner.

I've received so many messages of support and I want to thank all of my friends who tried to check in with me and helped take care of my dog and notify my family.

I protest because Black Lives Matter. What happened to me has no doubt happened to Black Pittsburghers without similar amounts of outcry. Let's keep our eye on the ball here and defund these police.
