Ok now that I and most of the #FPLCommunity has settled down after the #FPLLaunch yesterday, here are my some early thoughts about the prices and possible strategy in general:

.. endless, with KDB, Salah, Mane, Sterling, Aubameyang, Fernandes, Rashford, Greenwood all in this category. Then there the Chelsea mids in Ziyech (8.0) and Pulisic (8.5), who could provide excellent value imo. Foden (6.5) is another one in this category. It'll be very difficult
.. to select the 5 mids from a plethora of options. It'll be important to start with the big hitters with good fixtures and then keep switching them around according to the form and fixtures. I also feel that this is where the best captaincy candidates lie as well.
The one thing I'm really disappointed about is the lack of good budget forwards this year. The best ones in the 6-6.5 categories are Wood, Antonio and Mitrovic. And there's only Calvert Lewin in the 7-8 mil category who can be considered as an option. I hope to see a good budget
... forward finds form this season like how Danny Ings did the last time out.
For defense, the strategy seems like TAA and budget 4.5 options. The 4.5 m defenders category is filled with value and I'm pleased to see it. These players will enable us to spend big in the midfield which is very crucial this season.
However, there a few players that I feel are overpriced and probably not worth considering at this point. One of them is Firmino, who's priced at 9.5, which is higher than the likes of Ings, Jimenez and Martial, and same as Werner. It's a no brainer to ignore him in this scenario
I also found the Leicester players to be slightly overpriced, with Soyuncu coming in at 5.5 and Harvey Barnes at 7. They would have been decent options at 5 and 6 m respectively. Again, avoid.
To conclude, it looks like 352 is the formation to go for this year with spending big in midfield and going with 2 mid priced strikers. Still early days tho and all can change after the fixture announcement! Do let me know about your thoughts below! #FPL
