In short, I agree with the sacking, it's clear that Leo & the other's didn't accept him, thanks to that he turned against his ideas & thanks to that it became a total shitshow in the end.

I'm really disappointed, he has great ideas, but it seems the "demanding personality" in his team is Sarabia, but a "nobody" like him trying to act thought to winners like Leo, Piqué or Luis.. Well, didn't turn out great. If only the circumstances were very different.. Who knows.
But thanks to this fiasco I think even if we make a big clearance (doubt), we need a coach with charisma above all. Koeman seems like a logical choice looking at this segment, and I guess this is the most important right now. We'll see, I have my doubts about his tactical side..
But this situation once again showed what we often tend to forget, these players play football as a job, not just because it's their passion, so they won't perform on a high level if they don't feel happy. Winning today's players support must be a modern coach's biggest challenge
That is why we need someone who will earn the respect of Leo & co. even before talking a word with them. From that point, we can start building, but if he fails at the start, it is almost impossible to do anything.

I hope Font will win it. Laporta would be fine as well I guess, but Victor seems to have a much more thought plan, and I'm not big fan of sequels, it often disappoints. So, please be Font.

Squad
News now say that we want to build the new squad, only 5 players are safe, others will be sold, contracts terminated. So much BS I can almost taste it.
Reality is we'll sell a few old players who'd have been sold anyway, & sell young ones to generate income for transfers.

Likes of Todibo & Alená are in great danger obviously, I can see all our loaned players being sold tbh, plus likes of Monchu & Collado from B.
We desperately need money, & as we saw in the Arthur-Pjanic deal that other clubs aren't idiots, they won't make deals with our seniors.

So this big revolution, which we were promised 3 times already btw, will be nothing once again imo. 2-3 players leaving tops. No one will pay transfer fee+huge salaries for the likes of Luis & Alba, & letting them go for free would be Barto admitting his failings, which he won't.
Even letting them go for free would be tricky tho, as their salary is that big. No club in Europe wants that, and not sure how willing are they to change continent & end their career already.
This is why I hope for a strong coach, to play the likes of Riqui even if elders stay.

IF, & it's a big if, we manage to sell those players, I don't want to hear "Leo's last years" when planning. It has to be a total renovation with patience & a few calculated worse season. Coach included.

Until then, for next season my only wish is to have a coach with great character who can prepare our squad as much as possible for the next board's project (FDJ-Riqui starter duo, Ansu totally integrated, I hope for Eric too), and will break the "elders' rule."
