A while back, I posted a video on tiktok, I used one of the trending songs and made no effort to make the video sexual in any way.

This was part of a series of experiments I’ve done on my pages to collect evidential proof against the fictional character age controversy.
My goal: Prove that people have convoluted what 18+ means in order to justify their fandom policing and harassment. Many backing this argument have forgotten 18+ ratings encompass factors other than sexual connotations such as violence, smoking, drxgs, gore, alcohol, etc.
Here’s the video, I chose one of the less explicit songs that the app offered and sat on it for a bit to collect my evidence.
This is a small example of the comments, but the point is that people have irresponsibly shoved ALL content targeted at a mature audience into a small unorganized box and labeled it “lewd”
My point is, if you must demonized Mature content in fiction you must fully stand against ALL OF IT. That means you cannot be against ONLY a single aspect of adult content. Meaning is essence, perhaps, This series isn’t appropriate for you to begin with.
This is a series commonly know to let teens go to war with murderous adult organizations, Why not let people have their AU’s? Villain, Barhopping, Marriage, having lovers, having kids, etc whatever it may be. And if that AU requires a timeskip for it to make sense, so be it.
In essence, fiction is NOT a how-to behave manual for nonfiction situations. It is an escape from the confines of reality. Learn to distinguish fantasy and reality. These characters are not real, the people you tear down, witch-hunt, and harass are.
