Did some preliminary research on the #ICON project and I’m very bullish. This is definitely a buy and hold coin for the next 2-4 years (and rewarded massively).

1. MyID is probably the most discussed topic regarding the $ICON project right now and rightfully so because of the huge potential impact it will have on the entire ID verification systems in S. Korea.
2. MyID has been developed by ICONLOOP and already been approved by Korea financial services commission (which is the SEC equivalent in S. Korea).
3. MyID alliance has top Korean institutions and businesses as their real user/clients. I could mention some names, but there are too many big institutions that will use ICONLOOP’s MyID.
4. MyID will run in a “private chain”. However it will communicate with the #ICON public chain and other private chains. This is a huge value proposition for $ICX. As the network grows over time , more and more $ICX will be used for transactions in the public chain.
5. If you’re still confused about the use of MyID in the public chain, consider these 2 dapps running on Icon public chain: Broof and Visitme.
6. Leading S. Korean University POSTECH recently issued certificates using broof. Broof and Visitme both uses some sort of DID verification using MyID. So you can see how the growth of MyID will facilitate more dapps on public network and hence increase the usage of $ICX tokens
7. Leading S. Korean job site Saramin will be using Broof and MyID as well. Again, increasing the usage of $ICX tokens eventually.
8. Icon recently released Blockchain Transmission Protocol (BTP 1.0). This is huge for blockchain interoperability. Because using this technology , private chains created by Icon parent company Loopchain can communicate with each other and also with the public chain.
9. Right now ICONLOOP is creating as many private chains as possible. Eventually at some point in time, they will talk to each other and also with the public chain (possibly with BTP). More transactions on the public chain will definitely drive the value of $ICX token.
