She eluded us for awhile. Finally caught some to investigate the extent of the Strepsipterans.
Looks like there were 2 males here who pupated, emerged, and went onwards!

Trying to recapture her.

But wait a second!

Nice mimicry there flower fly, Syrphid fly. Try again!
In an attempt to recapture her we now have 2 different species of Polistes with evidence of stylops!
Found the one species point of reference. Think most have the twisted wing parasite and they are residing in the joint of the awning. Not looking good for these for these ones...
