Being a teenager has never been easy. When one is trying to find out a place for him/her self. Going through an image crisis.
But in today's world it's even more difficult.
From excessive SM to re calibration of ideologies, crashing heroes, changing definitions, obsolete Center

It's over whelming.
Even to ascertain one's sexuality in non threatening way is difficult.
So to all those who are going through this phase or are parenting them,
My two cents from what i have gathered working with so many of them.
First and foremost understand

That it's confusing for every one involved.
Secondly believe that u have what it takes to deal with it.
Any thing u choose to believe or anyone u idealize, test them, read them, understand them.
It's perfectly OK to be not perfect.
When u set goals to achieve, plz know that

When u grow older,only thing that would matter is what u contributed to society or humanity.
There would always be a better car or better looking girl.
What's important is, how much u need it. Not want it.
What u want out of ur career?
Yes, Doctor or IAS sound tempting

But is that what u want to do?
Can u imagine a world without a plumber or electrician or a vegetable vendor!
Know that biggest of Doctors can have no moral code and a simple village may garner more respect.
When u put out ur views, evaluate is it based on facts or just

To hurt some one. Abusing may have been made cool, so is smoking or alcohol,but if a man/woman has to depend on it, they aren't respecting their true nature. So just to look cool can't be the reason.
Also remember that how u behave in public will also reflect on ur family

Present and future. The one who shouts more is not always the winner.
Classical example would be Modi Ji and Rahul Gandhi.
Being rooted in your culture and carrying it with aplomb is the next cool thing.
But only when u understand and practice. Not blindly or google (same)

Any religion has its positive and some misinterpretation. One lesser than the other. But before u decide or defend, judge it unbiased.
Your life is your painting. U choose the colours.
Being over bearing is not always necessary. Be you, and u would get attracted to like minded

When u choose to behave a certain way, remember that u are putting out tithe world an example of how they would judge ur gender, religion, family and country.
Before u feel depressed or out rage, ask, will it matter to u after 5 years?
If not, it's not worth fretting.

Lastly, feel blessed u r born in country that has infinite numbers of true heroes who always from time to time have set examples for us.
Centuries of rich culture to uphold.
Know them, own them.
There is always some1 u can turn to when u need.
There is no dead end until u live
