JONJO SHELVEY (£5.5m)Jonjo was our top scorer last season with 6 (yes f*cking six) goals in a team whose front 3 cost £78m combined (double sigh).
He was rotated due to indecision on Bruces' part, last season but I'd expect him to play every game this campaign.
JAMAAL LASCELLES (£4.5m)Obvious budget choice from a Newcastle asset perspective. Captain. Will play, when fit. Scored a few goals a few years back but done f*ck all since.
Don't know why you'd invest in our defence. We're really bad.
Enjoying yourself so far? No?
Tough.
MIGUEL ALMIRON (£6.0m)D'ya know what, this guy gets a lot of stick from people who don't see him play every week and rightly so. He's not very good.
Nailed on starter. Can play quite high up the pitch if/when we get out of our own half. Looked bright after the restart.
MARTIN DUBRAVKA (£5m)Newcastle United wouldn't even be part of FPL this season if it wasn't for this guy. Racks up the save points because Newcastle get peppered with shots like the weak kid at paintball.
The price is awkward. Much like our takeover situation. Ouch.
ALLAN SAINT - MAXIMIN (£5.5m)How's this guy £5.5m? He is the ONLY attacking player I'd own from NUFC. He's the ONLY threat going forward. The boy is gold at that price.
PREDICTION: Bangs early on, gets a small injury in Nov, returns in Dec, sold in Jan to a top 6 club.
