Nigerians are generally friendly people but with very poor social skills. I see it at mixers every time.

You bring Nigerians (in Nigeria) to a gathering with many others they do not know and (esp the women) will wait for someone to talk to them before they talk to people.

You will see people who bring the energy on a regular day turn to a wet cat as soon as you put them in a room with strangers.

Others will introduce themselves and start to get comfortable with people. Nigerians will huddle up to only tho they know & be sizing up others
