And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges; Rev 2:12 https://www.blueletterbible.org/kjv/rev/2/12/s_1169012
I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth. Rev 2:13 https://www.blueletterbible.org/kjv/rev/2/13/s_1169013
But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication. Rev 2:14 https://www.blueletterbible.org/kjv/rev/2/14/s_1169014
So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate. Rev 2:15 https://www.blueletterbible.org/kjv/rev/2/15/s_1169015
Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth. Rev 2:16 https://www.blueletterbible.org/kjv/rev/2/16/s_1169016
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it. Rev 2:17
Who are the Nicolaitanes?
Rev. 2:15 "Nicolaitanes", from Greek 3531 Nikolaites, a follower of Nikolaus. https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/lexicon/lexicon.cfm?Strongs=G3531&t=KJV

Nikolaos is G3532 which means "victory over the people" or "to conquer people". https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/lexicon/lexicon.cfm?Strongs=G3532&t=KJV
Nikolaos is from two Greek words: G3534/Nikos/to conquer/victory and G2992/laos/people, especially your own people.
Names stemming from "Nike" include amongst others: Nicholas, Nicola, Nick, Nicolai, Nikolai, Nicolae, Klaas, Niki, Nikita, Nika & Niketas.
The Nicolaitanes were people who claimed to be Christian yet they compromised with the pagan gods & goddesses of Pergamos including Nike. They were known for their fake piety such as public prayer.
Nike is the Greek goddess of victory & conquest whose function was to proselytize/evangelize for Zeus of Pergamos. She crowned, with laurel, the winners of games & war. There were statues & coins of Nike in Pergamos.
If you look in Webster's International Dictionary under the heading Zeus, you will find a picture of Zeus sitting on a throne with Nike in back of him, in the act of putting a crown of laurel upon his head.
The crown of laurel is directly related to the white horse/first seal of Revelation chapter 6. https://twitter.com/SouledOutWorld/status/1294805741673553920
Nike was very much associated with the Olympic games & the victories there. Of course, victory is associated with prizes.

Greco-Roman poets write about Pegasus's ascent to heaven after his birth & his obeisance to Zeus, who instructed him to bring lightning & thunder from Olympus.
A woman actually rides a real white horse when home games are played in their Denver stadium. https://pinecountryfeed.wordpress.com/2011/01/27/come-the-white-horse/
Pegasus appears on coins of Corinth from 500 to 430 B.C., & from 350 to 338 B.C., and 200 years thereafter, on the decadrachma, complete & with wings;
as well as on coins of Lampsacus, Scepsis, & Carthage, on these last with the asterisk of the sun, or with the winged disc, & the hooded snakes over its back.
It is also shown on a coin of Narbonne as a sectional winged figure, & as a winged horse on a Euphratean gem, with a bull's head, a crescent moon, & three stars in the field. Of course the crescent is an Islamic symbol.
Other ancient coins of Ancient Greece, Pergamon, Mysia, 88-50 BC. show the Head of Athena in crested Athenian helmet ornamented with Pegasus & the serpent of Asclepius.

Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven. Mat 6:1 https://www.blueletterbible.org/kjv/mat/6/1/s_935001
Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. Mat 6:2 https://www.blueletterbible.org/kjv/mat/6/2/s_935002
But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: Mat 6:3 https://www.blueletterbible.org/kjv/mat/6/3/s_935003
That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly. Mat 6:4 https://www.blueletterbible.org/kjv/mat/6/4/s_935004
And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. Mat 6:5 https://www.blueletterbible.org/kjv/mat/6/5/s_935005
But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. Mat 6:6 https://www.blueletterbible.org/kjv/mat/6/6/s_935006
The practice of "genuflection", of bowing on one knee, is a pagan practice. Christians submit to God on both knees.
