I find no solace or joy in recognizing that conservative politicians of today have abandoned the ethics of honesty, & transparency. They deserve no governance. They have no leadership. Where has it gone.
They seek power, not community. They solicit whomever can help make that happen. They don’t distinguish right or wrong, good from bad. They just want votes.
And when they get them they drive their agenda to help their friends, donors, themselves.
Not remotely the party I used to vote for. Not near the standard it should be. They hire ppl to smear ppl, to dox, to obfuscate. On taxpayer dollars.
They don’t work collaboratively, they work belligerently. Soapbox bullies. Loud and ineffective.
Voters are seeing who they work for now. It’s not us, the tradespeople, the middle class, the academics, the small business owners. The mom & dads, the doctors or nurses, the disabled community, or the teachers.
It doesn’t matter if you’re rural or urban; only when you vote. Don’t forget that. We can’t. Expect more, raise your standards. Don’t vote hard on a colour, vote based on competence & compassion. Vote for trust.
