They forced people to retreat for blocks and blocks, with no clear escape route or intention to un-kettle them. And this was after they had already initiated contact.
Other people got better footage of them then attacking the crowd from behind as they were continuing to retreat on Randolph.

On LaSalle, they then began RUNNING at protesters as many (including medics) were still trying to treat their injuries.
I know ppl saw my updates and the other feeds from the ground. But it doesn't matter what the hell happened in whatever alley at Adams/LaSalle. CPD was terrorizing people, kettling, and pepper spraying them long before that. I repeat myself bc we cannot lose the narrative here.
