I believe @Noahpinion blocks upwards of a half million people. I block about sixty. But as follower count rises, so do encounters with worthless people, and so must the number of people one blocks.
I mention him because he is always encouraging more liberal use of the block bottom and because he may be the most prolific blocker on the whole site
I am not sure why I have been so resistant to blocking until now or why I feel resigned to continuing to be slow to block despite being persuaded that I should not be
It does mean that if I have blocked you it’s because any possibility that you might ever say something remotely worthwhile has been eliminated
