My sister, who lives in Broward County, wasn’t even sure if she was registered to vote (she is, my mom would literally come back to life and kill her if she wasn’t) until she recently got a ballot in the mail, which, again, she didn’t even realize she had signed up for. https://twitter.com/jessicahuseman/status/1294787805852381185
My mom got mail-in ballots when she was too sick to go in person, & my sister, who is extremely uninformed when it comes to politics, could ask questions about props and candidates and then make her own decision. For my Florida fam, it has made voting convenient, safe & easy!
Also, my sister, an essential worker, has almost ZERO business hours in which she has the time to stand in line and wait to vote. She works Mon-Sat usually from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. So a mail-in ballot assured she gets an opportunity to vote.
