If a hijabi ever told u she never had second thoughts about hijab or "taking it off", she is lying. We all go through a lot and a lot of us question ourselves and how we are WAY prettier without it. So let me tell u few things i remind myself of whenever i feel down: (thread)
1- i remind myself why did i wear it in the first place? And the answer is always the same: for God and for pleasing him and ofc because it is a fard
2-(مَنْ تَرَكَ شَيْئًا للهِ عَوَّضَهُ اللهُ خَيْرًا مِنْه)
If you gave up sth that you really love (hair, sport, clothes, swimming wear, etc) for God, be sure you will get rewarded for that. And God knows its hard for most of us and for that its reward is so big

3- God would never tell us to do sth if it is bad for us. Your destiny is already written and whatever is your نصيب will come to you.
So hijab isnt the problem you didn't get a job or didn't marry/arent in a relationship till now.

4- If i wore it for God and for الآخرة , then nothing so temporary - life - can be compared to it or even worth it.

No one said it is always easy, but believe me it is always worth it. We surely have our bad days but our good days are better than the bad ones. I feel pride and fulfilled whenever i wear my scarf. I feel comfort and contentment. I feel relieved
Dont let anyone tell u "u arent ready".If u rlly feel u want to wear it or get closer to God, u can begin with easy steps preferably (praying al nawafel, giving out charity, reading Quran, Tasbeeh & Esteghfar) so u dont be hesitant when making the decision or wear it right away
It is never too late. God is waiting for you to seek him. you never know what is waiting for you tomorrow.
