If you’re starting to see and get emails that your vinyl or cassettes shipped, it’s because they are processing, packaging and labeling. It more than likely won’t be scanned by USPS or UPS until Wednesday which is fine
The reason that they have to register a tracking number now is because they have to ship thousands of these copies to be delivered in line with release. USPS/UPS will show the tracking numbers but they won’t show that they are picked up. This is standard practice
This is how a pre-shipment looks. The tracking is registered as if it’s leaving the building but it is not. The distributor will store them until time to ship. This is also a good sign of the thousands of items they had to ship. Please don’t freak out!
