There's a parade in my hometown today!
I don't know the route, but there aren't many streets in Meota, so should be able to find a spot.
There is a decent chance the fire truck will lead the parade down ALL the streets.
It ends at an address on Beach Ave. I don't even know which street Beach Ave is. Ends with ice cream and root beer, so maybe the concession at the beach?
My Beach Ave guess proved correct. These guys must have got up early to get this spot.
Kids are riding around town on their bikes to watch, on their bikes in the parade, people are out waiting for the parade. God I love small town.

Ok. There is a lull happening, but a woman on a bike just rode by to assure us more are coming.
Hmmm....do I wait for the second half of the parade or go find the fam at the beach? I'm thirsty.

....this reminds me of my Grampa Ray. He had a sleigh team - Trickie and Dixie - and used to give rides at Meota Winter Festival.
