Greece
has seen a slight increase in the number of cases in the last week.
Today, 226 new cases have been reported - a decrease from yesterday, where 251 cases were reported.
We’d like to see this decline continue in order to mitigate a UK
quarantine risk.

At the moment, Greece
is in a better position in comparison to other nations.
Yesterday, transport secretary Grant Shapps mentioned any country where the number of cases per 100,000 over 7-days exceeded 20 would raise concerns amongst UK
ministers.

Currently, Greece
is at 13.4 cases per 100,000 people over 7-days.
This is lower than Croatia
, Czech Republic
and many other nations, putting Greece in a good position for Thursday’s review.

The 7-day average is sitting at 205 cases.
Ideally, we’d like to see cases reduce and even-out, bringing the 7-day average down.
See how Greece
currently looks with the graph below

We’ll have more statistics by Tuesday, allowing us to make more accurate assumptions of what *could* happen in Greece
I’ll have more tweets on Greece soon as the situation develops!
