How to start listening to Carly Rae Jepsen: A Thread
I know many of you remember her as the Call Me Maybe girl from the 2012, although her following album Emotion failed commercially, it was acclaimed by the critic, making her one of those indie goddess like Lana, Charli and Tove!
Everyone must start with her 2015 underrated album E•MO•TION. Genre is so-called the 80s synth pop that everyone loves!!

I recommend: Run Away With Me, Your Type, Boy Problems, Making the Most Of The Night, Gimmie Love
Did you enjoy Emotion? Thank Carly! She released a B-Side of the Emotion, which achieved her highest score on the Metacritic (80)

I recommand: First Time, Higher, Fever, Body Language, Roses
Many of you miss this song. Cut To The Feeling was Emotion outtake which later became a part of the a movie soundtrack. It is very unfortunate that this was pretty much abandoned without much promotions, it did hit on Japan. I'm going to say it. this song is just as good as CMM.
If you've finished the following albums I'm so proud of you! 😻 You're ready to enjoy her 4th studio album Dedicated, which was also acclaimed by the critic.

What? She released Dedicated Side B too? Yes! Because she is the perfect human being.

It is alway great to revisit her second studio album Kiss, despite of its favorable reviews, it was ignored at the time. Early 10s pop and her angelic voice, what can be more amusing?
