Ferguson has moved to Palace on a free transfer and is likely to fill the right back spot. A £4.0m full back who occasionally gets up field, will definitely be a popular choice for FPL managers

Lamptey was made a regular towards the end of the season with Graham Potter preferring the youngster over the more experienced Martín Montoya. Going forward Lamptey is the better player, suiting the 3-4-1-2 as a wing back.

With Jonny Otto out for what could be 9 months with an ACL injury, Vinagre is a cheap way to get the Wolves onto your team. Nuno loves attacking full backs and this guy will not disappoint.

Last season, Dallas played both full back positions, a centre midfield role and sometimes on the right wing. I wouldn’t want to compare him to Lord Lundstram but his stats from last season and versatility could bring good FPL returns. Definitely a player to look at for this price

Burnley were a solid defensive outlet last season, Nick Pope was a poplar FPL choice nearing the golden glove. He is the preferred left full back option by Dyche over Pieters. At £4.5m Taylor is a cheap option of the Burnley defence and has potential for attacking returns.

Walker- Peters signed for Southampton on a permanent transfer after impressing them on his loan spell. There is a lot of excitement about the youngster and at this budget price he is easy to fit in your team!
These are my favourite Defenders £4.5m and below.
