Congress is doing what Congress CAN do: writing and passing bills when they have the votes (so: Democrats can't do much more than write bills in the Senate), exercising oversight through investigations and hearings, and making a big stink in the news, which is happening.
They can't wave a magic wand and force McConnell put a bill to vote in the Senate. They can't make 54 Senate Republicans support bills passed in the Democrat-led house. Right now, there are 15-20 Senate Republicans who won't vote for ANYTHING, and McConnell won't work with Dems.
Hearings take time to organize, and they can't FORCE people to show up without a court battle. It's not something that can be solved in a matter of hours.

I'm tired of y'all. Take a Civics class. Yell at some Republicans, especially your own Reps and Senators. Make sure you're registered to vote and volunteer to be a poll worker. (They're even paying people in a lot of places this year!) Buy a USPS crop top.
