Okay, Twitter. Let’s do this.
First impressions: it’s…not bad? If you want something like a cold Irish coffee? It’s *very* sweet, however.
You know chocolate shakes that are just a lot of vanilla ice cream with some chocolate syrup? Kinda like that but with booze.
As a fan of Irish coffees, I think you can get that sweet because you’ve got the whiskey to back it up. Don’t know what PBR is using here—it’s not beer, I’m pretty sure—but it’s not *that* strong.
Really make me realize how much Irish coffees are all about the contrast—hot coffee, strong whiskey, cold and sweet whipped cream.
Whereas this is almost a wino’s frappuccino?
Anyway, if you like sweet desert drinks with booze, give it a try! I feel a bit buzzed and you get that “working man’s speedball” feeling boozy coffee drinks offer so it does that trick on that front. But honestly I’d like it to be about 15-20% less sweet.
