Talked with a lot of esports folk over the past few weeks that have praised our safety protocols during COVID-19 in our esports facility. I wanted to share those resources with you if you need inspiration or have suggestions :)!

A small thread:
Just a few things to discuss. With campus reopening, our #1 priority has been keeping students as safe as we possibly can. We've involved our Director of Nursing in our decisions, had them walk through the facility multiple times, and made changes/additions often.
Students wanted to store equipment at the facility so we purchased sealable containers for them so it can be stored safely.

We added Plexiglass between 100% of the stations in both the main play space, second play space, competition room, and the studio.
And we added more sanitizer stations (We had four, now we have six) throughout the whole space. Four of those stations feature hand sanitizer and sanitizer wipes. The other two are just wipes.
Students must produce a negative COVID test before they're allowed access, and we've extended their quarantine by 1/2 a day to ensure compliance.

Before gaining entry to the facility they must go through the rules posted here with a full time staff member.
As I've said to every single student. None of these rules are convenient, but we dont really care about convenience here. The #1 priority is keeping out students safe in such a weird time in our life.
