Scorpio as the Phoenix: a mini thread
yeah, scorpio is a fixed sign. it is superficially stubborn. ruled by mars, scorpio’s intensity and their mean streak are generally what we know about them.

but they are also intensely transformative whether yall like it or not.
(sorry if u dont use modern rulers, but pluto is Literally the planet of death & rebirth)
as a scorpio moon myself i think something people misunderstand about scorpio is their desire for literally burning themselves down to rebuild themselves *correctly*

the cycle of rebirth is vital to how scorpio placements view themselves and how they interact with the world
there seems to be a misunderstanding from non scorpio placements, that when we talk about changing and adapting and the “death” of our personality from a few weeks ago, that we mean like mutable signs do it, as if on a whim or to match up to someone else

this is all false.
the “death” of scorpios is carefully calculated, its plutonic. its intentional. its HARD.

the imagery of a phoenix is aligned with scorpio’s “final development” for a reason. scorpio is who they are, until they arent. and then they are again, and then they arent and then they—
(idk the word we r using now, developed or grown or matured or attempting at a basic level to be a better person. y’all know what i mean)
so when scorpio placements talk about the radical changes they put themselves through, we arent talking about changing our hair color every week, we’re talking about intense scrutiny of ourselves and our identities and deciding to ***start over***
so yes scorpio is a fixed sign. we’re FIXED in this cycle of growth, death, and then rebirth. have a lovely day ✨💕😌
the only analogy i can think of rn is a video game, esp one that requires character building/world building. u play the same game but u restart it over and over, or you get frustrated and rage quit only to come back and try again. thats what emotions feel like as a scorpio moon
