It's a quiet morning in downtown Stone Mountain... so far.
A few dozen anti-racist demonstrators (Antifa, FLOWER, etc.), some armed with assault rifles, are congregating near the center of downtown Stone Mountain. They asked me not to take pictures.
Looks like activists with @flowerunited, @afainatl, others are marching into the heart of Stone Mountain. I've only seen a couple pro-Confederacy guys so far.
That said, I've heard Confederate States III%'s Georgia chapter plans to be here today, too.
Here's the III%ers...
The one closest to me is Chris Hill, the Georgia chapter leader of CSIII%.

The pro-Confederate folks are severely outnumbered... seemingly outgunned, too.
Lots of local businesses open around 11 or noon, so it's hard to say how the rally could affect sales. Honestly, I'm hoping someone will let me use their restroom...

This is Daniel Brown, owner of the Gilly Brew Bar in Stone Mountain. This could be a big day for his business.
The CSIII% folks have been backed into a building under renovation. From a strategic standpoint, this does not seem ideal for the small party.

Protesters are upset by an apparent lack of response from law enforcement after pepper spray attack. Much stronger Right-wing presence now.
. @OutrunBrewingCo owners say it's "bizarre" to operate in a town that's essentially one big monument to the Confederacy, but what better way to bring people of all walks of life together than over a cold beer?
