What’s next for #FCBarcelona ? A thread:

First of all, let’s get rid of those who don’t belong in the club anymore to make some money:
-Griezmann: no motivation, horrible season and can be sold for a good amount of money (70 mill.)
-Busquets, Piqué: too old, terrible season
-Semedo, Rakitic: not good enough.

Getting rid of those guys should provide some money for a couple of decent signings. Also Dembele could be added to that list (60 million?)

Neymar shouldn’t be an option for Barca. Too expensive and they wouldn’t be doing any well for their defense, which sucked today.

Now, I do not think #Setien is the right guy. He completely misjudged the situation against Bayern. Making Ter Stegen play a lot with his feet, which he clearly cannot do. He lost every ball today. New coach -> fresh start of the 20/21 season. #setienout

Now let’s start with the signings:
#Barcelona needs a RB, a strong midfielder and a strong CB.
For the RB position there isn’t a good option tbh. They should play someone from the youth. Regarding the future it’s the right thing to do aswell.

For the Center Back position there are some interesting options. #Soyuncu would be a very strong signing. Good, strong player. And let’s not even mention Stefan de Vrij. Best defender of the Serie A this year. Both would be crucial signings for Barca.

They need a strong midfielder. I was thinking someone like Donny van de Beek would be perfect, but they won’t go for him. If #Chelsea fails to sign Kai #Havertz I don’t see what Barca are waiting for to go for him. Dele Alli is another decent option.

But if they don’t have the money, they still have a decent midfield: De Jong, Puig, Coutinho (if they don’t sell him) and Pjanic.

If Coutinho is sold they’d be able to get a new player tho.

And finally, in case of Griezmann leaving they’d need a new striker. I was honestly thinking about Martínez, but he hasn’t been playing that well lately.
