Meaning of our Flag
Pakistan’s first Prime Minister Nawabzada Liaquat Ali Khan presented the national flag in the Constituent Assembly of Pakistan on August 11, 1947.
The flag was designed by Amiruddin Kidwai, and is based on the All-India Muslim League flag. Master Altaf Hussain was the man who stitched first Pakistani flag at the request of Quaid-e-Azam in June 1947.

On 30 September 1947, United Nation General Assembly decided to admit Pakistan and Yemen as Members of United Nation.
The Emblem of Pakistan was adopted in 1954. The design features a shield split into 4 parts depicting cotton, wheat, tea and jute surrounded by a shield of Jasminum Officinale. With a crescent moon and star is above the shield and a banner stating “FAITH,UNITY, DISCIPLINE” below
