Since June 24—nearly two months—Assange has apparently been detained by UK authorities at the behest of the US government improperly. What does that mean for his rights to due process under any recognized legal norms that still hold force over this extradition?

Having covered Chelsea Manning's court martial in a US military court, let me say this clearly: Julian Assange isn't even being granted the same minimal rights and the same standards of press access that Chelsea had. It's much, much worse.
