PCR detects DNA sequences not viri. The #SARS_CoV_2 sequences were never sequenced from a real virus but by modeling.
To proof that a (RT-)PCR positive always means a virus is present and nothing else, the kit needs to be validated against *physical isolation* of the virus.

The genetic sequences all PCR-kits are looking for are sanctioned by the WHO. Nobody ever verified them. Current Corona PCR-kits are validated either by other PCR-kits or with reference samples. These are not valid gold standards.
